Following continued growth, they’re now looking to bring in a Senior .NET Developer to join their engineering team. The Role
As a Senior .NET Developer, you’ll play a key role in designing, building and maintaining scalable applications that power the company’s fintech platform. Working closely with Product, Engineering and the wider business, you’ll help deliver high-quality software while driving best practices across the development lifecycle.
This is a hands-on role suited to someone who enjoys solving complex technical challenges while mentoring others and contributing to architectural decisions.
What You’ll Be Doing
- Designing, developing and maintaining modern applications using C# and .NET
- Building and consuming RESTful APIs
- Developing scalable cloud-native solutions within Microsoft Azure
- Working across both backend and frontend technologies to deliver end-to-end features
- Contributing to system architecture and technical design discussions
- Implementing and improving CI/CD pipelines to support fast, reliable deployments
- Writing clean, maintainable and well-tested code
- Optimising SQL databases and improving application performance
- Exploring and implementing AI-powered features where they add genuine customer value
- Collaborating closely with Product Managers, Designers and fellow Engineers
- Mentoring junior developers and promoting engineering best practices
- Continuously improving development processes and technical standards
What They’re Looking For
Essential Skills
- Strong commercial experience developing with C# and .NET
- Experience designing and building REST APIs
- Solid experience with Microsoft Azure
- Experience building and maintaining CI/CD pipelines
- Strong SQL and database design knowledge
- Commercial frontend development experience (React, Angular or Vue)
- Understanding of modern software architecture and design patterns
- Experience working within Agile development teams
- Strong communication and stakeholder engagement skills
Nice to Have
- Experience working within fintech or other regulated industries
- Exposure to AI technologies, machine learning integrations or LLM APIs
- Experience with containerisation (Docker/Kubernetes)
- Infrastructure as Code experience
- Knowledge of event-driven architecture or microservices
- Experience mentoring or leading developers
